What was the most dissapointing nintendo game you ever played?

Could be anything, a spin off or new ip you were interested in, a sequel, any game- although I'd prefer something that isn't popular to hate. I have a few- New Super Luigi U was very exciting for me as I love luigi, but the levels were rushed and difficult, without time to explore the level with friends. Kirby Triple Deluxe was easy and was basically a rehash of return to dreamland. Smash ultimate may have improved classic mode and the core gameplay is the best in the series, but world of light was repetitive to the point where sometimes it wasn't fun anymore and replaced too much. Still an amazing game of course. Kirby air ride sucked and was basically mario kart but worse. Mario Kart Double Dash was fun, but the co-op wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. The track design is probably the worst in the series, and the gimmick feels unnecessary. Pikmin 3 was great and I loved it but worse than pikmin 2 and after 11 years I was expecting something amazing. I also thought super mario world was so much worse than super mario bros 3 and while still a great game, is worse than the nsmb games and super mario land 2. Super mario sunshine was such a dissapointment compared with super mario 64 and is is my least favorite 3d mario game, although again an amazing game.

Favorite Nintendo Deaths & Game Over Screens?

So many Nintendo Death animations & game over screens. Some deaths have cool animations, while others have great music. The Donkey Kong Country SNES series probably has one of the best game over screens that I think of.

Oh wait, Mario 64 was great to, with the way Bowser laughed at you. Speaking of laughing, Ganon laughed at Link in Zelda 2, adventure of Link! Another favorite death of mine has to be in Maniac Mansion, so many ways to die in that game!

What about you guys? Remember any deaths from a Nintendo Game that you really enjoyed?

(Keep your descriptions PG please)

I picked it up and here are my thoughts if you need convincing.

Picked Starlink: Battle for Atlas up a couple of hours ago and it is pretty neat. The vehicular combat is very sleek and something I would like the devs of Daemon X Machina to look at.

The plot is meh, but the cutscenes are gorgeous and the cast is rather memorable. You'd want to punch a couple of people, but my boy Fox and his team have been done justice. Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire

The number of weapons and ships is pretty great. Not all of them are particularly usable, but there are enough combinations to keep you entertained. I particularly enjoy the Vulcan and Hailstorm from Deluxe edition. Both are basic as ****, but definitely fun to use.

The gameplay is... well, it's Ubisoft. So if you played any of their games in the last decade, you know what to expect. Large, beautiful open-world with tons of collectibles and side-activities, but not a lot of depth to it. Don't expect BOTW, but it is definitely not bad.

The DLC is mostly about adding variety to the gameplay. You get some unique weapon and ship archetypes, but that is about it. The game plays nice without them, but $10 is a good price for the content you get.

The game runs alright. In handheld it is definitely on the lower side of "playable" — 30 FPS with mediocre pacing. I enjoy it, but I can see people ****** off by this.

Are games going up in general????

I'd like to start a discussion on the current climate of game collecting for the Nintendo 64.

About six months ago I had to sell my entire collection - including Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mario Kart 64, and Banjo-Kazooie / Tooie, my favorite N64 games - to a friend of mine due to a financial snag.

Fortunately they are not entirely out of my life; I could visit my friend and even play them if I wanted. However, I've noticed Conker's has gone up by about $20 overall since I bought it for sixty bucks last year.

Is this happening to all games? Do you forsee these games just going up indefinitely, or do you see the bubble popping sometime soon? If so, when and why do you see that bubble popping?

Server power supply failure (solved)

We had a power supply failure on the main server this morning. The power supply was replaced and the server was up and running within an hour or so. Although the server works fine now we will replace it with newer and more powerful hardware within the next few days, a test migration is progress.

New server hardware will be:

Intel Core i7-7700
64 GB DDR4 RAM
2 x 512 GB NVMe SSD in RAID 0
1 Gbit/s connection

The SSD's should improve performance by quite a bit.

The secondary server which stores automatic daily backups and also host some sites will keep its current hardware (i7-4770, 32 GB RAM, 2 x 2 TB SATA in RAID 0) for now.

Resident Evil 0 Emulator Issue #10129

$

I need to post this here!

I don't know if any of the Dolphin staff is on these forums now days but if there is anyone else being a member at their forums then please forward this to them.

This issue is what I want to mention:
https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/10129 - Resident Evil 0 GBZP08 crashes at certain events

This issue have been open for around 2 years and the issue is happening because "Idle Skipping" being ON
There used to be an option in old Dolphin called "Enable Idle Skipping" ON/OFF

For Resident Evil 0 not to crash this option needs to be OFF.

I get reinstating options is out of the question but can't there be a hidden game ini option to toggle "Idle Skipping"

So the message/request I want to forward to the Dolphin developers is this:

"Any possibility to make a hidden game ini option to toggle Idle Skipping so that Resident Evil 0 can be played on newer Dolphin builds?"

Thanks in advance!

PS. One of the last builds were this option was included is 5.0-895, for anyone wanting to play Resident Evil 0 properly this is the version you need to get.

People that bought a Switch for home usage only, how do you like it?

I'm contemplating buying a Switch but I'm not sure if it's a right purchase for my use case. I don't travel much and my daily commute is done by bike. So I'd prolly use my Switch at home 99% of the time. I already have a gaming pc but I still have this urge to buy a Switch. Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire

The thought of being able to play games in bed, on the couch and the easy switching between handheld and docked make it sound like such a great device.

I want to buy Civilization 6, Zelda and Smash Bros as my first games. But in regards to Civ I'm not sure if it's worth it because I already have it on pc.

Finally bought Xenoblade

Times have been tough and I’m happy to say after three months of saving I’m finally able to stop being members of society and get lost in this game for a few weeks because of all the people of this so highly recommended it. So a quick thanks to all of you for pushing me to get it! I’m only 30 minutes in and I’m stunned. Sarkari Result Pnr Status Showbox
