Mom Earns High Score With Nintendo Game Room She Built for Sons (ABC News)

This mom really took control of her sons’ playroom.
Rorie Lizenby, of Scottsburg, Indiana, is earning a high score on social media for the elaborate Nintendo-themed game room she built for her boys.

“I had wanted to transform their playroom into a game room for over a year, but it took about that long for the concept to form in my mind,” Lizenby, 33, told ABC News. “I knew I wanted it to be a bit out there and impressive, but still classy (if that makes sense).”

Her 8-year-old and 4-year-old sons are “big Nintendo fans,” so needless to say, they love the new addition.

Lizenby, a high school pre-engineering and chemistry teacher, said the entire project took her less than two weeks and no more than $200 to finish.

Before the room turned into this Nintendo mecca, “There was absolutely nothing [in it] besides cream walls and toys strewn about everywhere,” the proud mom explained.

“I’m just always taking on new projects to stay busy,” said Lizenby. “I completely remodeled my bathroom a year ago,
built the boys a pretty cool tree house in the backyard, as well as smaller things like hand knitting and machine knitting.”

She’s not sure how she’d top this Nintendo game room in the future, but wouldn’t be opposed to trying. “I wouldn’t discount the possibility,” she said. “I’m always trying to top my previous projects.”

Help! Fatal Frame emulation

Hey guys, can someone help me? I'm a huge fan of Fatal Frame series, and unfortunately FF IV is Wii exclusive. So can someone tell me is it possible to finish it using Dolphin? Because I heard different rumors, that at some point, near the end of the game, it's impossible to finish it using emulator.

PuruPuru doesn't appear in plugins

Hi,

1.04, r150. I've tried replacing the PuruPuru_Win32.dll with multiple different iterations of the plugin from throughout the years, but it just doesn't show up in the plugins list when I try to select it under Maple. The odd thing is, both an install copied from another computer (which had a working plugin) as well as a new download give me the same issue. No other plugin works for my controllers, and every other emulator I use recognizes them just fine.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT

The old install gives me an error saying it is unable to locate the plugin. If I hit esc, it takes me to the plugins list. At this point, Purupuru isn't selected anywhere, so I hit OK, but it tells me there's a fatal error and crashes. The new install, on the other hand, merely won't recognize anything related to the plugin. Hope that helps

I get a black screen instantly with every ROM on windows 64 bit.

LOVE AND BERRY: DRESS UP AND DANCE! barcodes

Well, title says it all. I've gathered the missing cards from the main roster that came with the emulator and I was able to get the codes from various people and the internet. I wanted to post this last December, but it wasn't complete by then and I only found the last two barcodes I needed today when someone gave me clear photos of the cards. I've included all of the lucky colors (including Magical Hat Color recolors for the Hair and Makeup Cards that have hats (I got the 3rd-5th Collection working by putting the ROM on a folder named loveber3), effects on certain versions (And I'm confused with Version 12. I've tried some of the Dress-Up Cards before and some of them changed the tambourine sparkles to flowers and some didn't.), and kept up with the stage compatibility in the Dress-Up Cards (but not the Hair and Footwear Cards). And a friend made the base and asked me for certain cards that were in the DEMUL barcode list (she had majority of the Love and Berry cards except for some), so she didn't use the original list as a base, so forgive me for any typos in those, although I can still contact her.

Getting error running DC

ERROR! (HRESULT = 80040154) IDirectInput CreateDevice mouse FAILED

This happens when I try to go to file -> run dc.

PC Specs:
i5 haswell
750gt nvidia
16GB DDR3 memory.
Samsung 850 pro ssd hard drive

Any idea what could cause this? I've searched all over google with no luck.

I've tried v .0.5.6 and v0.7 alpha date 12/22/2015. Same result.

I copied this entire setup to my computer which is a i7-6700k at 5ghz with 64gb of ddr4 memory and dual 970gtx's and I don't get that error. I wonder if it's simply because I do not have a mouse or keyboard plugged into my gaming machine? I purely manage it via ultravnc and only controllers are plugged into it.

I Know this is a long shot, but I saw a YouTube vid a while back that had either a texture pack, or some other kind of plugin on super Mario 64
The best way for me to describe it, is that it made everything look like that game
"Line rider" as if it was a moving sketch book or something like that. I Can't find it anywhere on Google images, other videos, and it's driving me absolutely bonkers! Please, someone out there must've seen it besides me. First person to find it for me gets a whole quarter! ;)

Configuring a Gamecube controller

$

Hello.

I'm trying to configure a official Gamecube controller using the Mayflash GC controller adapter for use with Monkey Ball (Naomi). However, the left and down directions aren't properly recognized. When the control stick is in the resting position while trying to configure a button, the input will be defaulted as either "JOY0_ANL3_KEY", or "JOY0_ANL4_KEY" unless a button or direction is held. The up and right direction configure correctly as "JOY0_ANL1_KEY" and "JOY0_ANL0_KEY" respectively. However, when left or down is held, it will always be configured as "JOY0_ANL3_KEY" or "JOY0_ANL4_KEY" no matter what. This results in the ball rolling down or left constantly, even in a resting position. Is there a way to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please excuse my ignorance, I'm very new to this sort of thing.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

So, I'm sorry for being such a total noob but I've Googled and can't find the answer to what should be a really basic question....

I want to play House of the Dead 2 and use my mouse to emulate the light-gun, how do I do this? If I select Light Gun in Maple Device Manager, Demul just doesn't read any of my inputs.

Thanks in advance.

I'm new to retexturing N64 games and I've only loaded djipis hires texture pack onto my MM rom but I want to edit some of the textures for instance make my own sword texture. I read online that to edit textures you must dump them but when I do this there aren't any sword images ( that I can tell) that show up. I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how I can retexture just the sword and shield. Thank you.
