Have fast PC, want accuracy (n64)

I have been using glide64 with project 64 and it works well for most games, but there are problems. I am having to resort to using the virtual console in dolphin to get some games working properly.

I have a really fast PC. About 90% as fast as PC's get for emulation. So I am comfortable using software emulators, interpreter only, LLE, or whatever, provided that it is at all possible to run them at full speed with some combination of hardware.

I have looked around, but a lot of the information I have found seems out of date. Help would be great, thanks.
