Wave Race Softmod x4

I got existing hires waverace softmod and duplicate or quadruplicate every enviromental texture and sharpened a little bit. I dont know how to make higher res textures for the hud, numbers, letters and small things like that. If someone know a good tutorial for that please share with me. ;)

This is my first mini-project. Im planning on retexture a game from scracht but im having problem dumping the textures from the games.
