Error prompt when opening games

Hi,

Since several days ago, I'm getting this error prompt everytime I load a game:

Error! HRESULT=80004001 IDirectInputDevice8 CreateEffect FAILED

I accept and can resume the game, but it's quite annoying.

Has anybody have a clue about how to solve this?
